Claire & Michael's Derbyshire wedding

This weekend I travelled to Ashbourne in Derbyshire for the wedding of Claire and Michael at Callow Hall.  The couple had chosen an autumnal theme wth vintage elements.  Claire wore a stunning 1930s inspired dress by David Fielden and carried a simple bouquet of calla lilies tied with a velvet ribbon and finished with a vintage brooch.

The tables were decorated with crystal candelabras and miniature pumpkins.  For the centrepieces Claire had requested roses and lisianthus.  Ranunculus, Calla lilies and Eucalyptus were also included and I added Oak leaves and orange Ilex berries to give the arrangements an autumnal feel.

The rich, warm colour scheme was perfect for a November wedding and the lovely old fireplaces with roaring open fires created a wonderfully cosy and intimate atmosphere which made all the guests feel very much at home in this charming little hotel nestled in the Derbyshire Dales.

Congratulations to Claire and Michael.
