Authentic Creativity

I'm feeling a little delicate today after a late night at our Obsessionistas @ BIAD private view party which was a huge success. We were so happy that the atrocious weather didn't put people off coming. It was great to have the support of so many friends and to meet lots of new and interesting creative people.

I'm looking forward to a little down time this weekend in between Christmas parties and family visits. I hope to find an hour or two to make my Christmas door wreath. The holiday season is fast creeping up on us and each year I'm full of good intentions to get organised earlier, but somehow I never seem to manage it.

If you only look at one thing online this weekend, then for what it's worth, I honestly recommend that you make yourself a cup of tea and settle down to listen to this lecture on authentic creativity given by Malcolm McLaren shortly before his death. It's truly inspiring stuff and might just make you question whether or not you can really be bothered to watch the X Factor final.
