RED Designer Talks at The Conran Shop: Chris Bracey
Today Design Hunter is featuring the second of a series of designer talks at The Conran Shop to accompany the RED exhibition.
Chris Bracey has specialised in lighting design for 37 years. He has worked on creative collaborations with designers such as David LaChapelle, Alexander McQueen and Martin Creen, and his neon designs have appeared in several internationally acclaimed films including Mona Lisa, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Eyes Wide Shut.
Here he recalls how his career has taken him from designing neon signs for fairground rides and topless bars and clubs in Soho to working with Stanley Kubrick...
... and even though last night's RED party was full to bursting with admirers of all things Red, Chris's neon red rose was unmissable.
With thanks to The Conran Shop.
