The little things

The Uniform Wares 12 Details project, a collaboration with photographer Jim Naughten, somehow slipped completely under my radar during London Design Festival. Twelve influential or inspiring people who share the brand's passion for meticulous detail were invited to take part, with the aim of the project being to highlight the sense of pride and dedication each sitter has for "the little things". Each sitter was photographed with an object or objects that communicated their relationship with detail and a Uniform Wares watch of their choice.

With the exhibition now over, Uniform Wares have published the portraits on their blog, along with thoughts shared by each of the sitters on their relationship with detail. They include Sheridan Coakley owner and founder of SCP, Rhonda Drakford and Lulu Roper-Caldbeck of Darkroom and Rosa Park and Rich Stapleton (above), editor and designer of Cereal Magazine.
