Design Hunter's guest edit for The White Company
Since I began writing Design Hunter more than four and a half years years ago I've been fortunate enough to receive many wonderful opportunities and invitations, but when it comes to working with brands, I'm hugely careful about what I take on. If I don't think something's a great fit for Design Hunter then, quite simply, I won't agree to do it.
In all honesty I probably turn down more than 90% of the requests that come my way, but when The White Company got in touch recently to ask if I'd be interested in working with them to create a series of posts as guest editor of their blog and weekly newsletter The Weekender, it took me all of about thirty seconds to say 'yes'.
I've been following The Weekender since its very first edition a few months ago and loved the previous guest edit by Alexandra Stedman of The Frugality, so I was genuinely excited to be asked. I really enjoyed putting together the posts I've written for them and hope you enjoy them too. My guest edit is out today and you can read it here.
Although I feature beautiful interiors here on Design Hunter every week, I'm conscious that I've never really shared much more than a glimpse into my own home. So over the coming months I'm going to be continuing to work with The White Company and will be showing you a little more of my own home, and some of the things from The White Company I most love. My guiding principle when I'm choosing things for my home is always that the objects I live with should help create a home that is inviting, restful and a place of sanctuary. Working with The White Company feels like a very natural fit.
