10 pairs of sandals you'll want to wear all summer long

Yesterday, to my excitement and joy, I managed to get hold of one of the few remaining pairs of Dune Jolene slides - the Isabel Marant inspired sandals that all the fashion bloggers seem to have been snapping up this season.

Perfect for both pool side and getting around town in equal measure, slides are apparently this summer's 'it' shoes. Birkenstocks are also back, although for some of us they never really went away. This is one trend that I am happily on board with.

Can we all just take a moment to rejoice in the fact that fashion editors are for once telling us to buy shoes we can actually do stuff in? You know, the kind of practical things busy real women actually do every day, like popping to the shops, or taking the dog out for a walk.

Here are 10 pairs you might like.
