#ForTheBrave | Honor Design Competition 2015
Design Hunter is pleased to be partnering with Honor to help them spread the word about the Honor Design Competition 2015.
If you're not already familiar with them, Honor (owned and operated by Chinese tech firm Huawei) are hoping to shake things up in the smartphone market with their new flagship device the Honor 6, which with its high spec, fast speeds and high quality display, is being positioned as a more affordable alternative to the current crop of high end Android phones or even the Iphone 6.
Presenting themselves as a company with a different way of doing things, Honor have no contracts and no stores - the Honor 6 is currently available in the UK from Amazon.
In keeping with this belief in doing things differently, for their first European design competition Honor is inviting designers to submit bold challenging designs that re-imagine the phone's user interface icons, wallpaper and back covers. The winning designs will be implemented in Honor's current and future models.
the Prize Fund
The competition has a total prize fund worth over £5,000, with the winning entry receiving £3,000, an Honor 6 phone and accessories pack and the opportunity to see their designs implemented in Honor's current and future models. The second and third prize winners will receive £1,000 and £500 plus an Honor 6 and there will also be a number of smaller prizes for runners up.
- Designers are invited to submit creative concepts on the theme "ForTheBrave".
- You can enter either as an individual or as a team and each participant or team can register up to three entries.
- Entries will be judged based on design excellence and concept, use of vivid visual effects and an excellent display of style that fits the theme #ForTheBrave.
