What to buy?
Here are my top 10 picks...
1. My Spot organiser by Menu (above)
Menu's My Spot organiser seems to be all over my instagram feed at the moment. A simple design consisting of just three anchor points, a weight and a black or white string, it plays with gravity, compositions and the minimalistic shape of the circle.
Use it for your favourite tear sheets, calendars, tickets, postcards, and for instagramming your carefully styled compositions obviously!.
2. Mademoiselle Modules by Officinanove
Mademoiselle is a modular shelving system comprised of three components of different sizes - tall, medium and short. Made of tubular steel it has a lightweight feel and can be configured in multiple combinations, allowing it to be used in lots of different ways.
3. Colette 50 table lamp by Pedrali
Designed by Alberto Basaglia and Natalia Rota Nodari Colette is a mushroom shaped table lamp. Made from polycarbonate it has a translucent cylinder base through which the light flows, before giving off a soft glow in the half spherical top.
4. Plant bags by Authentics
Houseplants have been enjoying something of a revival as an interiors trend over the past couple of years and I'm always on the lookout for interesting containers for mine. This hanging Plant bag by Authentic is available in various different sizes and they also do sacks for larger plants and trees.
5. Marble serving dish by Pietre di Monitillo
These sculpted marble serving dishes will create an elegant tablescape for entertaining. They'll double up as decorative accents on a shelf or coffee table when not in use too.
6. Standard pendant lamp by Menu
Menu's Standard pendant lamp is an alternative take on the archetypal industrial lamp - made from a single piece of fine blown glass instead of from metal.
"I like the idea of looking at something incongruous and moving it into a more refined and domesticated context," says designer Sylvain Willenz.
Perfect for suspending over a dining table in a room with high ceilings or even for the office.
7. Cyclope mirror by Moustache
With its imposing, enigmatic shape Moustache's Cyclope mirror is designed to create the impression that someone is watching from the other side of the room, like a character observing his environment. Its convex glass adds a touch of fun, by creating playful distorted reflections.
8. Kart chair by Linfa Design
The Kart chair by Linfa Design is constructed from an oak wood structure with a curved veneered seat an backrest. An elegant timeless design
9. Vapeur lamp by Moustache
Inga Sempe's Vapeur lamp for Moustache uses the mechanical and structural qualities of pleats to create self supporting volumes that provide soft illumination. Available in hanging and table versions it comes in various sizes.
