Christmas Gifts from M&S
Anyone else feeling that Christmas is creeping up just that little bit too quickly this year? I've only bought a handful of presents and haven't written a single Christmas card so far. Work deadlines this year have meant that I've been more disorganised than usual so I think I will be doing lots of my gift buying and Christmas preparations at the last minute. And my go-to destination for last minute Christmas presents is always M&S. With the convenience of click and collect and my nearest branch just a five minute walk away I can nearly always find something suitable for pretty much anyone. So today I've teamed up with M&S to bring you the Design Hunter M&S Christmas gift edit. And after spending yesterday afternoon browsing their site for inspiration I can happily report that I've now solved almost all my gift buying dilemmas.
One thing I've been pleasantly surprised to discover this year is that M&S now stock products by a number of my favourite brands. Did you know that they sell Native Union charging cables and iPhone cases for example? Or Fitbits? How about REN beauty products and Neom candles? No, me neither, but I know what I'll be treating myself to next time I'm lucky enough to receive an M&S gift card.
Of course M&S have always been well known for classic Christmas gift options like knitwear and this year they have a particularly good range of cashmere sweaters and accessories for both men and women. Who wouldn't love a pair of cashmere socks?
The women's Autograph cashmere collection completely nails the season's most on trend colours. Alongside timeless neutrals like grey and camel I'm coveting this crew neck sweater in plum and bottle green. I'd team up with this metallic pleated midi skirt and a belted coat, and these pretty hoop earrings would make a perfect stocking filler.
Christmas gifts for four legged friends are always some of the most important presents in our family. All dogs love to play tug and this rope ring toy will keep them (and you) occupied for hours while the turkey's in the oven. There's also a flying duck or, if you really want to humiliate your pooch this Christmas, how about this chewy moustache toy. There's a 3 for 2 offer on these at the moment so I think our Bert may well end up with all three.
I've always really liked M&S's range of plants and flowers and I pick up some Amaryllis for our home every Christmas. While they aren't especially Christmassy these beautiful standard lavender, laurel and olive trees also caught my eye. They come in a pretty jute bag and would make a great gift for anyone who loves their garden. They'll be appreciated all year round too.
Finally, if you are really stuck for ideas for the most hard to buy for members of the family who already seem to have everything, in my experience a bottle of fine wine is usually well received.
