The AW17 collection from Ferm Living
We've arrived at that time of year when all the Autumn Winter catalogues start dropping through my door and landing in my inbox. One that I always look forward to is the Ferm Living lookbook. I always draw lots of inspiration from their colour palettes and styling and this year is no exception.
I'm loving these warm earthy shades of rust, cognac terracotta and plaster pink at the moment - perfect for combining with greys or even dark blues I think. I'm tempted by these Sekki bowls as a quick and easy way of introducing this colour into my home. I'm also on the hunt for some new wooden serving boards and really like the asymmetric angle of this oak version. For textural contrast - something that is always so important if, as I am, you're drawn to a more pared back minimal look - this grey kitchen towel provides the perfect base.
I'm also finding myself really drawn to the soft light freshness of these greens. I think this colour palette would be the perfect backdrop for festive spruce and other winter foliage and decorations in a few months time (not that I'm ready to start thinking about Christmas quite just yet). I am ready to start making a few autumn updates to get the home ready for the shift in the seasons though and lots of the items from this lovely new collection will definitely be making their way on to my shopping list.
What's on your home wish list this autumn?
