New collections from LSA International

As someone who has in the past, both worked as an event florist and dabbled in buying and selling mid-century glass I have a lot of vases. I've long been an admirer of LSA International's beautiful glassware and have several of their pieces in my vase collection at home, so I'm delighted to welcome them as a new sponsor here at Design Hunter and wanted to share some of the newest additions to their collection with you.

Still a privately owned UK company, LSA International was founded some 40 years ago by the Lubkowski and Saunders families, who still own it today. For the past 20 years it has been steered under the creative directorship of Monika Lubkowska-Jones, daughter of co-founder Janusz Lubkowski.

Design Hunter loves...

... this 'Grow' mini greenhouse by Caroline Wetterling for Design House Stockholm.

Designed as an incubator for the first stages of a plant's life, it is made of mouth blown glass and comes in two parts. The bottom holds the plant and the soil while the top has a spout that allows it to be used as a watering can. The spout also functions as a valve to allow air in and to regulate the moisture and temperature levels inside the greenhouse.
