Most property advisers agree that the kitchen is the most important room in the house when it comes to adding value to a property.
When we renovated our house a couple of years ago we found it the most difficult room to get right. In the end we were delighted with the results, but it involved a lot of planning and hard work. My advice to anyone about to embark on a similar project would be. “Don’t underestimate the importance of getting all the little details right.”

Thanks Emily. I'm not always a big fan of feathers in floral arrangements but these guinea hen feathers are so pretty and delicately marked. I like the way they add a bit of textural contrast and colour.
