Neon & Nordic inspired Scottish knitwear
Neon acid yellow Arran style cable sweater
Forgive my over indulgence in all things cashmere and snuggly in recent weeks, but I am hopelessly in love with this knitwear collection by Lorraine Acornley for ESK. A Royal College of Art graduate with a background in fashion, Lorraine has teamed up with Stuart Maxwell of Esk Valley Knitwear, a specialist knitwear manufacturer based in South West Scotland.
The collection consists of Sarah Lund style Nordic sweaters along with Icelandic and Arran inspired designs, plus an utterly beautiful range of cushions and throws. Simple, honest and well considered, they are knitted in cashmere, alpaca and merino wool and come in an on trend colour palette that includes putty, mustard, charcoal, acid yellow and navy.
