The new Loaf for John Lewis collection
John Lewis have teamed up with Loaf to launch a new collection of sofas and footstools. Available online and in selected stores from today the new designs are based on the classic laid back Loaf look.
The three sofas and two footstools in the collection are upholstered in velvet or brushed cotton and come in a wide choice of colours (22 in total), from soft chalky blues and neutrals, to faded pinks and bolder shades of teal, ‘bumblebee’ (a striking shade of mustard) and ‘spiced orange’.
The Floppy Jo sofa combines contemporary styling with relaxed curves, plump cushions and extra deep seats.
Crumble is a laid back take on an elegant classic with sweeping curves, deep buttoning and pleat detailing on the arms.
Doodler is a slightly more upright design with rounded arms and weathered oak feet. It’s shown here in ‘Liquorice’ velvet – I’m quite taken with this shade.
The Dollop footstool, which has been designed to work with either the Crumble or Doodle sofa, is perfect for those laid back feet up moments.
And the collection also includes a range of scatter cushions in co-ordinating shades and fabrics to complete the look.
All of which is making me want to kick back and put the kettle on.
