Vipp introduce the 452 Swivel Chair

After prolonged periods of working from home over the past twelve months many of us have decided to upgrade our home office set ups. Finding a chair that offers the right level of ergonomic design and function, but that also fits seamlessly into the domestic environment can prove a challenge though. Most office chairs are designed primarily for the corporate space with little regard to how they might be accommodated within residential interiors. With the addition of the new 452 swivel chair alongside their original 451 chair however, Vipp have just launched a design I would happily welcome into my own home office.

The new Vipp 452 swivel chair rests elegantly on a pillar that branches out into a star shaped base and is available with either floor gliders or castors, allowing it to be easily rotated through 360 degrees. While it may not have the full range of adjustability options some other office chairs offer, (the height of the chair is fixed), it is designed to allow you to work in comfort for extended periods of time.

Slender polished aluminium armrests and padded leather upholstery give it a refined industrial aesthetic and a light presence that will enhance rather than overwhelm other design elements within the room, making it a good option for multi purpose living and working spaces.

An all black version in powder coated metal and leather is also available.
