Geometric home accessories from Kristina Dam
The new lookbook from Kristina Dam dropped into my inbox recently and this geometric wall structure jumped out at me as a way to add an interesting and unsual expression to your wall, either as a stand alone piece or alongside your existing pieces of art. A 3D version is also available as a limited edition sculpture.
Kristina, who works with graphic design, art and interiors, studied at the Royal Danish School of Fine Arts, Architecture and Design and her initial training as an architect is evidenced in the many geometric forms and architectural influences her work contains.
Also included in the collection is this dip dye effect wooden cube (below) which echoes the shape of the side table from the same range (above). It offers a nice way to group together and frame a set of objects to create a little vignette on a sideboard or shelf, and a refreshing alternative to the ubiquitous bell jar which, after being beloved by stylists and bloggers alike for the past few years, has perhaps now had it’s moment.
