During a home renovation project back in 2008 Chelsea Cefai was hunting around for some artwork for the walls when she came across some surface pattern designs at auction. An interest in the woman who designed them was sparked and, having worked in the museum and art gallery sector for many years, Chelsea realised the importance of preservation and of keeping collections together. You're right Katie. I only own one Reiss piece – a classic little black dress that I bought quite a few years ago. It wasn't cheap but it's a timeless shape and I've had good cost per wear value out of it.
I think it's worth investing in more expensive pieces only if you know that you will wear them again and again. That's what I like about this collection – it looks really wearable.
