Fired Earth Nina Campbell: Tiles Inspired by India

I’ve always believed that the best interiors tell stories—not about design and trends, but about who we are, where we’ve been and what we value. The new Fired Earth Nina Campbell collection does exactly that. Each design brings to life memories from Nina’s travels to India over the years, drawing inspiration from the subcontinent’s vibrant colours, intricate patterns and cultural richness.

A Journey Through Tiles
The collection features three distinctive designs – Goa, Cochin, and Udaipur – with each telling a unique story.

Goa
Reflecting the region’s Portuguese colonial heritage, this design features quatrefoil patterns with painterly foliage. The colour palette of blue, chocolate, aqua, green, and ochre pays homage to Nina Campbell’s signature fabric and wallpaper hues.

Cochin
Inspired by Kochi, once the heart of the global spice trade, this tile showcases naively embroidered petal shapes. Soft aqua, green, olive, and yellow tones create a sense of heritage and tranquility against an ivory white background.

Udaipur
Named after the city of lakes and palaces, this design captures the serene beauty of Udaipur through watery aqua blue tones and intricate cartouche patterns.

This considered collection will appeal to those of us who view our homes as layered reflections of who we are and where we’ve been. These are pieces that will age beautifully, bringing India’s warmth and cultural richness into our spaces while adding character that will last for years to come.
